On the 4th anniversary of Mary's passing, I am grateful to announce Mary’s Bridge.

Mary’s Bridge motto comes from Galatians 5:6:

“The only thing that matters is Faith Working through Love.”

A year ago, I found 8 acres for sale, 2 miles from my home. I was seeking a place for peace & quiet to heal. This land is special. It is imbedded in the farms and forests of ... Lebanon Correctional State Prison. Without knowing what I was getting into, I bought it. For the last year I have been cutting trees, creating paths, and maintaining the property. More importantly my soul has been healing & my mind finding peace. I

was in a spiritual & emotional desert. In this wilderness, I have been praying & reading every day to find direction.

Through this, God has opened my eyes & heart to many things, to include:

• There is much pain & little healing. The world is disconnecting us from what matters most:

• God, our inner life, nature, and relationships.

• The key to emotional & spiritual prosperity is God, work, and generosity.

1. We need Faith in God through Jesus Christ. Without it we will constantly be missing the mark and hurting ourselves. Prayer is the key to peace.

2. Work & Entrepreneurship create dignity & allows generosity.

3. Generosity with others allows God to be generous with us. As one of my board members, Carl Satterwhite, says, “Give, to get, to give.” In other words, "The only thing that matters is Faith Working through Love."

The Vision of Mary's Bridge is to bring non-profits, businesses, and government together to create a path from prison to prosperity through faith, work, and generosity.

Some of the greatest people, making the greatest impacts have spent years in prison. A broken person who finds healing in Christ is powerful.

I am encouraged by the enthusiasm and support of so many who are wanting to partner with us!
